The city of Bunbury has a number of events each year to promote the area and to bring tourists to this large and diverse part of Western Australia.

Funtabulolus Bunbury Kidsfest

This is on in October in 2013 during the school holidays. It will be held in the Bunbury Recreation Grounds and there will be 8 activity zones to explore and enjoy. Choose from Beach and Garden, Science, Under 5’s, Physical activity, Creative kids, Animals and Festival Theatre. There are things here for the kids to keep them entertained all day long. Both kids and their parents can have a fun day her and it is a great interactive activity for kids of all ages.

Viva Bunbury

This fantastic event is a street carnival with Latin music, live music and lots of entertainment. There is a special race day at the Bunbury Racecourse, cooking demonstrations and food tastings. In the street will be a variety of cafes and restaurants with outdoor tables to provide a real carnival atmosphere.

Christmas Carnival and Parade

Held in Bicentennial Square this is fun day for kids of all ages with a parade through the streets of colourful floats in the evening.

Dardanup Art Spectacular

This is held in May and will take you from Dardanup Hall filled with wonderful works of art to a dozen galleries and wineries in the area to see more great art and taste some lovely wines.

Ferguson Valley Taste Fest

This is on April in Ferguson Hall where there will be a variety of local produce and food to enjoy. Come along from 10am.

Dardanup Bull and Barrel Festival

This is held over a weekend in October in Dardanup from 10 am til late. This is free family event held annually with local wines and beers, kids’ activities, stalls, art, farm animals and fire sculpture.

Donnybrook Apple Festival

This is held in March at Eaton Park in C Donnybrook and is 2 days of market stalls, entertainment, fireworks, wine tasting and fun for the whole family.

Lunar New Year

This is a big celebration her each year and is a day of food and celebration of all things south east Asian. Try food from Cambodia, Vietnam, Burma, Thailand, India and Sri Lanka.

Bunbury Horse and Country Music Show

This is held in April at Hay Park in Bunbury and there are horse events, great music, poetry and lots more to see and do with market stalls, wine and food tasting and more great music.
